Citizens for Marysville Schools is a volunteer committee.
We truly appreciate the community support we have received for our schools and this levy!
When our family moved here, we chose it mainly for the schools and wonderful opportunities in Marysville school district. Our children have amazing teachers who go the extra mile to help them succeed both academically and socially. We support our schools and teachers and hope our kids have the same opportunities as the kids that are graduating this year had. #ptbm
As a parent volunteer I catch a glimpse 'behind the scenes' at times and I can say without a doubt that MEVSD has a FAMILY of loving, caring, and committed teachers who truly have only the best interest of the students at the forefront. They are fully invested in the WHOLE of our children, not just academically. I have seen through my own children, the teachers' talent to address a child's area of need while continuing to nurture their inner strengths and abilities. I want to see our children grow within this district which is why I will be voting for the levy on the upcoming ballot.
As educators, we have seen the difference high quality schools can make in the lives of children and throughout an entire community. Marysville serves as a leading exemplary school district in Central Ohio, and we are proud to be Monarchs.
All children need a strong foundation to thrive, from family, church and their schools. Marysville continues to show leadership adn innovation, with some of the best programs focused on student development right here in our own backyards. We must provide support in building our future generations with this knowledge and understanding. Together, it takes commitment and community involvement to keep these higher learnign standards available to us. How lucky are we that we live in such a supportive and giving community? We are proud MHS alumni, our son is a 2019 grad and our daughter will graduate in 2026. Our family is proud to support the levy and VOTE YES on May 2nd, will you join us?
As Marysville parents, the school levy on May 2nd is of great importance to our family and our community. Our daughter Camille (6th grade) and son Drew (9th grade) have greatly benefited by the education and opportunities they have been given as students in Marysville Schools. We are beyond thankful!! Our school district is an innovative leader in both the state and nation, and they have done it through fiscally creative and efficient approaches to school funding. We are unique as a school district because we have not had a new money levy in 15 years. Growing up in the 1990's in this community was special, in part, because we had great schools and opportunities that mattered. Continuing this is important for our kids now, and it will be important for their kids one day. On May 2nd, we will be voting YES for our schools. We hope that you too, will choose to defend the community standard by supporting our schools. PTBM!
As a longtime resident of Marysville, I have seen the growth of our student population and the changes that are part of this growth. Also as a member of the school finance committee for many years, I have observed firsthand how diligent the school board and administration have been with the available resources.
Just consider, that on any given day that MEVSD is in session, over 5500 of our children become the responsibility of the school district. MEVSD is in charge of much of the transportation, safety and security. A large number of students have an individual lesson plan that needs to be monitored, In addition we are blessed with a substantial number of available extracurricular activities, all kinds of sports, arts and performances, FFA, and many school clubs.
At the Early College High School there is the opportunity to work with Columbus State and get a head start for College education.
With the increase in population in the district, the student population continues to grow substantially year after year. This levy is needed to maintain the quality program for our children. Your Yes vote is needed May 2.
As a community we owe it to the kids of our school district to give them the opportunities and foundation needed to be well rounded for our futures. Today's students will be the doctor and nurses caring for us as we age and teachers of our grandchildren. Voting yes for the levy will continue to allow our district to provide a top tiered education. I'm so grateful for Marysville Schools and the commitment given to provide my three children the foundation needed to be successful.
Concerning decisions in our community, like the upcoming MEVSD Levy, we find ourselves at another crossroad. We get to find out how strong we are and how we respond to one another in the midst of growth & change. Thankful we can trust our school officials.
As a teacher, coach and parent at Marysville Schools, the levy on May 2nd is so important to our students! We need your vote! It will allow us to continue to provide outstanding opportunities and experiences in the classroom and on the field! Our schools excel academically and athletically within a great community. Please help us protect al lthe great opportunities provided to our kids on May 2nd by taking time to vote! Our students deserve it!
Being born and raised in Marysville has allowed my husband and I to establish some deep roots in a community known for it’s excellent school system! As a former teacher for Marysville Schools, I value the importance of educating our youth in this ever changing society. The amazing opportunities my own children have been given, going through the same school system I did at their age, is a dream come true for any parent. I believe in OUR students, administrators and staff, which is why my family will be voting YES on May 2nd to support our schools. We hope you will join us!
Our family is supporting the MEVSD levy. We have three children within the school district and continuing to provide a quality education is important for their future. The average per pupil cost to educate a Marysville student is nearly $1,700 less than the state average. We want to ensure our schools continue to be able to provide a great education. The schools haven't asked for new money in 15 years (impressive!) and passing this levy is critical!
Our family is in favor of the levy because it supports our amazing staff and students to utilize their best learning experience. Our family has really enjoyed our time at Mill Valley and want that to continue for the community.
I believe in our students. I believe in our schools and community. That's why I CHOSE to invest in our community's future, investing my passion by teaching our future. As someone that benefited from a great community and school, a proud MHS grad of 2001, I say thank you and I hop you CHOOSE to continue to believe in our future by voting yes on May 2nd.
We support Marysville Schools and plan to vote Yes on the upcoming levy. Our three daughters have had many positive academic and extra-curricular experiences during their years in Marysville Schools, and we want future students to have access to these same opportunities. We feel that Marysville Schools have prepared our children for their lives beyond high school and know that the loss of state funding will not allow the district to continue providing programs at the current level without the passage of this levy. By supporting our teachers and schools, we are investing in the future of the Marysville community.
I’m not originally from Marysville, but I’ve lived here for 15 years, and so many of the amazing people I’ve met along the way are from here or have returned to Marysville. That says a lot about a town, and so much of that has to do with the schools. I currently have 3 kiddos in 3 different school buildings. Will it be easy to find the extra money that my “yes” vote will cost, not necessarily, but is it worth it, ABSOLUTELY. I’m not voting yes just for my kids, but for all the generations that have been and that will be. A “yes” will mean a better education for kids now and for those in the future, a stronger community, and a town that people will be proud of for years to come. That’s priceless. Join me in securing the future of this incredible community that we call home.
